Crique Toussaint is located near the Pripri de Yiyi wetlands and Crique Canceler, in the commune of Sinnamary. Its banks are sandy and the water has an amber tint. Though set back from the main road, it is only a few minutes from the town centre. The creek is shallow in places.
Crique Toussaint is a pleasant retreat — a place to unwind for a few minutes before getting back on the road, or to spend a day with friends or family. The site is clean and well equipped. Keep an eye on the timoun (children), as the creek is shallow in places. Bring something to keep you entertained: a football or volleyball, cards or dominoes.
The site has a car park, carbets, tables and benches, dry toilets and bins at the entrance. Please respect the site and use the bins provided. Tables and a large carbet are available for picnicking.
From the RN1, about 3 km from Sinnamary town centre heading toward Saint-Laurent, turn left at the crossroads signposted for the Saint-Élie track and Crique Toussaint. Follow the signs from there to the site.
