Découvrez le Lac Pali à Roura

Lac Pali is accessible only by water, paddling up Crique Gabriel. You need a boat: canoes and pirogues can be rented from Loca-pirogue, or you can use a guide service.

There are two launch options: the landing near the Roura bridge for a longer route covering all of Crique Gabriel, or the Eskol landing further upstream for a shorter paddle to the lake.

The route passes through marshland, mangrove and a riverine forest of moutouchi-rivière and bâche palms. Many orchids and other plants clinging to the trees add colour to the forest.

Lac Pali is about half an hour from Cayenne, upstream along Crique Gabriel, in the commune of Roura.
