Crique Cascade is located between Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni and Apatou, in French Guiana. Over a stretch of 300 to 400 metres, it offers a succession of small waterfalls with clear, cool, amber-tinted water reminiscent of Crique Morpio near Iracoubo. The site is a peaceful swimming spot in the western part of French Guiana.

Leaving Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni at the junction toward Saint-Jean, drive about fifteen kilometres in the direction of Apatou. The entrance is on the left, just after the bridge over Crique Cascade, and is not signposted. Park on the roadside, take the dirt track and walk approximately 150 m to the stream.

Facilities are basic: a carbet and a tarpaulin shelter. Bring your own supplies if you want to do more than a quick swim, and take all your rubbish with you when you leave.

Beau site. Par contre, il nous a été demandé 2 euros par personne pour accéder au chemin menant aux cascades, par les propriétaires des carbets. Et bien sûr en espèces et sans ticket
