Chute Grillon : Un trésor de Guyane

Grillon Creek is located in the Bélizon state forest, in the municipality of Roura, French Guiana. It is known for its waterfall of approximately 20 metres, surrounded by dense vegetation. The trail leading to it is short and presents no particular difficulty.

• Equipment: comfortable clothing and footwear, water and snacks. The shelter is privately owned — access without authorisation is prohibited.

Getting There

Take the Bélizon track, located at PK 81 of the RN2 heading towards Régina. Just past the 5th bridge, turn onto the entrance on the right, which leads to a private shelter; a barrier prevents vehicles from going further. At the shelter, cross the creek running just behind it and follow the forest track for about ten minutes to reach the waterfall.
